GV II
House, C17 timber-framed with painted brick and plaster panels,
extended to south in painted brick. Hipped thatched roof with
ridge stack. Two storeys. Small paned casements. Left side
addition has casement pair each floor, late C18 or early C19.
Main range has exposed framing with tension bracing. First floor
casement pair and triple casement, ground floor door under
pedimental timber hood and casement pair. Rubble stone single
storey section at right end has roof swept down over and front
stone-framed small single light window. Roughcast rear wall.
Interior: north end rooms on both floors have heavy spine beam
with deep chamfer, upper beam scratch moulded beneath and with
scroll stops, lower beam with jewelled stops. Winding stair on
front wall with short length of turned balusters with moulded rail.
