2. Early Cl7. Timber frame and plaster and whitened brick. L shaped plan. Single-storey and attics. Projecting gabled wing on right hand. Modern doorcase in the angle. The main block has a large gabled dormer with an original wood mullioned 4-light window. Modern casements elsewhere.

Parish Church, Wyre House, Church Cottage, The Cottage, Outbuildings adjioining The Cottage and Avonbank Farmhouse form a group.
