Former railway station, later bonded warehouse and more recently a training centre. Built in 1861 in Italianate style. Constructed of very large yellow bricks on end with stock brick dressings and polychrome brick voussoirs. Slate roof Southernmost part was formerly the Station Master's Office. Projecting pedimented gable with brick cornice and paired round-headed windows, blocked to base. South side has C20 door inserted in enlarged original window opening. Attached to rear is a yellow brick tower with stone coping, bands of red brick
and lancet windows. To the north are 3 cambered windows leading to the former Booking Office. This is of one storey 4 bays with brick chimneystack to left. Red brick modillion eaves cornice. Three round-headed windows with top pivoting windows with red and yellow brick voussoirs and black brick band. Left side doorcase with semi-circular pediment and plank door. Adjoining to north is a further section with 3 yellow brick chimneystacks. Right hand section has 5 cambered blocked windows. Left hand section has 10 round-headed windows, 2 with
oculus above and C20 door. Linked by a curtain wall is the former First Class Waiting Room with hipped roof now covered in asbestos sheeting, round-headed window and C20 double doors. Curtain wall on the platform side has a series of round-headed arches which were filled in c1927 when the railway station was moved nearer to the harbour and this building was converted into a bonded warehouse.
