Italianate villa of the 3rd quarter of C19. 2-storeys, three wide bays. Fairly
low pitched hipped slate roof with deep bracketed eaves soffit and 4 red brick
stacks. Red brick with stone dressings including high plinth, 1st floor band,
lintels, cills and apron panels below 1st floor windows. Recessed ashlar central
bay. Three wide stone steps to porch, tetrastyle in antis, with wrought iron
railing over, before 3-window arcaded 1st floor bay. Sash windows with glazing
bars or margin lights, double in right bay. Matching radial glazing to fanlight
over 4-panel door and to heads of flanking windows. 2-storey 2-window similar
left wing.
