Pair of houses. c.1835. Stucco with slate roof. 2
storeys, 8 bays. 1st, 3rd, 6th and 8th bays project under
gables with decorative bargeboards, 2nd and 7th bays have
coped gables. Central bays have stepped 3-light windows
with label mould to ground floor, 1st floor has corbelled-
out gabled half-dormers. 3rd and 6th bays have gabled
porches, entrances with Tudor heads and hood moulds,
flanking lancets. 1st floor of 3rd bay has Tudor-head
window, that to 6th bay replaced by canted bay window. 2nd
and 7th bays have Tudor-head window, those to 7th bay with
flanking lights, the ground floor gabled. 1st bay has C20
ground floor window with label mould and 2 Y-tracery 1st
floor windows. 8th bay has C20 2-storey rectangular bay
window. Several stacks with ornamental chimney pots. 2
pairs of gate piers and ornamental railings to front garden
of No. 28. Rear similar, with basement. 3rd and 6th bays
have canted bay windows. Ornate iron balcony.
