Rainwater-head dated 1791. Brick, with stone dressings, 3 storeys. Both face
the north side of St John's Church, Victoria Street. No 51 has a panelled door
up steps, with iron rail, and round arch of 2 orders; one sash window on ground
floor and 2 on each upper floor with flat brick arched lintels. No 53 is larger
with centre panelled door up 3 steps, segmental arched fanlight, Ionic 3 quarter
columns, frieze and cornice, and rudimentary pediment set in a segmental brick
arch; 2 double sash windows on ground floor, and 3 modern windows each upper
floor.
Nos 51 & 53 form a group with Church of St John and Nos 25 to 31 (odd) Victoria
Street.
