Halmore Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18. Coursed rubble stone, concrete
tile roof, brick end stacks. Additional slightly lower wing to
right and lean-to to left, both of brick. Single long range, 2
storeys and attic. 3 windows, 3-light wood casements under timber
lintels. 2 similar on ground floor with doorcase just left of
centre, 4-panel door, lower 2 fielded, upper 2 glazed with
bolection mouldings, and C19 gabled trellis-work porch. Two 3-
light gabled dormers in steeply pitched roof. Brick wing to right
of 2 storeys with two 2-light casements to each floor, segmental
arches to ground floor.
