House. Datestone 1593, later heightening and fenestration. Squared coursed
clunch, some flint, brick dressings, red pantiled roof. 2 storeys. Rear
facade to road has 4 blocked brick dressed windows, 2 C20 casements with
glazing bars partly set in earlier brick dressed openings. First floor
has 3 blocked brick dressed long and low window openings, one larger blocked
window, 2 casements with glazing bars set in earlier openings. Heightening
courses and later, probably C19, roof with 2 end and one ridge stacks.
At north west angle chamfered corner with brick dressings, brick dressed
west gable with 2 upper brick dressed and carstone infilled lozenge panels,
upper with stone date plaque, R.S. 1593. East gable with brick dressings,
one blocked brick dressed window and brick carstone infilled lozenge at
apex. Included primarily for group value with the church.
