Former coachmakers premises to rear of street block, c.1833. Framed
structure of cast iron and timber with painted brick infill, slate roofs.
Built around central courtyard. 3 storeys. 4 bays long and 3 bays wide.
Ground floor with cast iron open colonnade supporting galleried upper
floors with continuous ranges of small pane glazed sash windows. On north
and west sides central double hoist doors with wrought iron pivot cranes.
Temporary wooden roof over courtyard. On cast iron plaque over entrance
from street City of London Coat of Arms and inscription "J. Harvey & Co.,
London 1833".
