Commercial premises. c.1870-80. Stock brick with red brick bands and
stucco dressings, slate roof. Eclectic Italianate detailing. 5 storeys.
3 windows wide. Wooden faced ground floor warehouse frontage with
entablature flanked by scrolls. Architraved casement window, the 1st and
2nd floors articulated by pilasters with large central Venetian windows
with enriched arched lights flanked by twisted columns; 2 lights in typanum
with flanking scrolls. String courses, enriched 4th floor with band and
crowning cornice with blocking course inscribed "CARRIAGE MANUFACTORY".
