Wansford Station on The Nene Valley Railway - the Station Building on Platform 3 was built in Jacobean style in 1845 for the opening of the Northampton to Peterborough line. The canopy was removed in 1957 when the station building ceased to be part of the railway, and the Building was sold for alternative use in 1967. It is hoped that it will eventually be returned to its original purpose.
