6/190 Heybridge Farmhouse

II

Formerly farmhouse, now house: dated 1682 and 1771 on rainhead. C20
additions and alterations. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble,
Kerridge stone-slate roof and stone ridge. 1 gable brick chimney.
Originally lobby-entry house now lost in square block. 2-storey, 4-bay
front. Left 2 bays rendered C20 addition with casements and glazed
door. Right 2 bays in gabled cross wing, have C20 lean to stone
porch, and a 2 light chamfered stone mullioned window under a rubble
hood mould and a 2 light casement with glazing bars above. Date
plaque between reads TCF 1682 and there is a blocked circular light in
a diamond shaped stone in the gable.
