C16/C17 timber framed house with western 2 bay section of 1888. Eastern side has
square panel framing with brick infill exposed at rear. Street facade, painted
brick with eaves cornice. Tiled roof with 'eyebrow' curves over dormers. Large
C17 chimney stack. 1½ storeys. 4 bays with assorted early C19 casements and modern
windows. Porch roof built in angle between the 2 parts of the house. At the rear
of this eastern section is a 1 storey, 3 windowed wing at right angles. Brick
on stone foundations with asbestos roof. Probably former ccwsheds. C19 western
end of painted brick. Coped gable end faces street. Tiled roof with eaves band
across gable. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Sashes, to corner bay, upper windows with dentil
cornice. Other windows, casements.

Carrington Farmhouse forms a group with Carrington Grange, its garden wall and the
garden wall to Nos 33 and 35 opposite.
