Early/mid Cl9 pair of houses. Stucco facades with wide eaves cornices and old
tiled roofs. 2 storeys and dormer each, basement, 2 windows, sashes with dripstone
moulds above, glazing bars missing. Paired doors under common, bracketed cornice.
Steps with iron handrails.
All the listed buildings in Captains' Row form a group with Alma Cottage, Grove Road.
