C18. Three-storeys and basement, plum coloured brick with red brick dressings,
moulded stone cornice resting on brick dentils, plain parapet with moulded stone
coping. Old tile roof. Two chimney stacks with moulded stone cappings. A 5-bay
front, the centre bay projecting slightly. All windows have stone cills and red
brick shaped aprons. The second floor windows have Venetian shutters; glazing bars
have been altered in most windows. A one-storey extension to east, with one door
and one window and modern 2-storey west wing. A 4-panelled door (C19) in doorcase
consisting of plain surround, fluted Doric pilasters, broken entablature with cornice
carried across and broken forward over centre of door. The moulding of the necking
of the pilasters is extended to form an ogee arch over door supporting the centre
break forward in the cornice.
