Probably started as an C18 house but the present features are mid C19. Originally
the Five Bells Public House, the 2-storeyed structure is now a shop. Hipped red tile
roof. Painted stucco walling, with parapet and cornice, cambered first floor window
heads on either side of central round arched recess (formerly with inn sign). Ground
floor is a slightly projecting 'frame' with cornice, frieze led into pilasters,
cambered window openings with recessed treatment, plinth, and recessed central doorway.
