Lock keeper's cottage. Early C19. Painted brick; hipped plain tile roof
with overhanging eaves; brick internal stack to rear. 2 storeys; 2 windows,
glazing bar casements with semi-circular heads: central 6-panel door with
wooden doorcase and bracketed cornice hood. The cottage forms a picturesque
group with Bumblehole bridge and lock (q v.).
