Early C19. 3-storeys. Colourwashed brick. Flat eaves. Slate roof. 3
sash windows to upper floors (3 panes wide); 2 sash windows on ground floor,
no glazing bars. Windows in segmental arches. Central door with 6 fielded
panels with plain rectangular fanlight and doorcase of plain pilasters and
frieze with flat board hood on shaped brackets. Important position facing
dorm Church Street.

Nos 5 to 13 (odd) and Rydal House form a group with Nos 37 & 39 Church Street.
