End of terrace town house. c. 1830-40, probably to designs by
George Gutch Stucco, slate roof. 4 storeys, basement and dormered
mansard. 5 windows wide with 3 window return to Bayswater Road.
Central portico-porch with paired fluted Greek Doric columns.
Recessed plate glass sashes, those on 1st floor in architrave
surrounds. Deep entablature with dentil cornice below attic storey
with crowning cornice and blocking course. Return to Bayswater Road
has giant order of Corinthian pilasters to 1st and 2nd floors; 1st
floor windows with pediments. Cast iron balcony across 1st floor.
Heavy cast iron spear head area railings. Part of the post 1827
Tyburnia development of the Bishop of London's Estate.
