Formerly tollhouse now house: early C19 with C20 additions.
White-washed and rendered, with black-painted sandstone dressings and
pyramidal Welsh slate roof with central stone chimney. Square in
plan, originally 3 storey but now 2 storey over cellars due to rise in
road level. Road front has a C20 wooden casement, in plain stone
surround, in both storeys and a doorcase with moulded uprights added
to right. To sides, 2 semi-circular headed recesses with similar
windows to front and similar windows above.
Interior: Cellars, which were once the ground floor, have original
fireplace, stone seats, and arched openings.
