Church. 1855. Foster & Wood of Bristol. Rubble, freestone dressings, plain clay tiles colour banded over chancel, ornate clay ridge tiles, raised coped verges. Nave (ecclesiastically reversed) with east porch, chancel, south transept with bell-turret, south porch, north aisle. Picturesque composition in Decorated style. Ecclesiastical west end of nave has 3 lights under a continuous drip mould above a single storey gabled porch flanked by rooms under a trefoil pierced parapet, elsewhere in nave are lancets. Very large gabled south transept has a 3-light window with geometrical tracery, at left is a slender octagonal bell-tower surmounted by a shafted lantern with steep conical roof, at right a similar gabled porch steps forward. Plain gabled north aisle built into hillside. An important element of a good group. Interior not seen.
