Entrance gateway about 50m east of Wheathill Farmhouse

Entrance gateway. Probably C18. Doulting stone piers, wrot iron gates. Square plan piers with moulded plinths,
rusticated ashlar piers with moulded bell-hip pyramidal caps: gates possibly C20, having square rod rails with collared
arrow points, the top rails having curved sweeps. Gateway has group value with Wheathill Farmhouse (qv), and
contributes to setting of same.
