House and former shop. Mid C18 with shop front of c1900. Coursed rubble; tile and slate roofs. House of two storeys and three windows to first floor (facing North Street); lean-to against west end with shop window (facing Cromford Hill).

House: four-pane sash on each floor to left of blocked quoined doorway; casement beneath sash on right then a casement to each floor has altered C18 square-faced surround. Brick end stacks.

Shop: doorway to left of canted bay window having sashes of 4:8:4 panes on sill band and with stone mullions and lintels; hipped roof broken by shaped gable with louvred roundel and ashlar copings.

Interior not inspected.
