Early C19. Terraced cottages. South elevation stuccoed: remainder nodular flint
with red brick dressings. Slate roofs (Nos 74-8 hipped: Nos 80-4 pitched, and
steeper). Late C19 red brick chimneys with much cornicing. South elevation has
2 storeys and basement. Stucco stringcourse above ground floor, and stucco cornice
to eaves with parapet. Pilasters between each house and at ends. 1 window range
each, all double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in moulded stucco surrounds,
except for No 82 which has 1 modern plate glass window on ground floor with no
mouldings. 1 door each, in plain reveals, Nos 78, 80 and 84 original with 4 panels
and simple moulding, remainder modern. Area with basement doors, and late C19
iron railings with ogival finials in front of whole range.
Rear elevation has 3 storeys, with a brick modillion eaves cornice. 1 range each
of segment-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars (ground floor of
No 78 has modern plate glass: ground and 1st floor of No 74 has 1 continuous modern
window strip). 1 planked door each, No 78 modern.

Nos 64 to 84 (even) form a group together with the wall opposite on the south side.
