GV II

Pair of cottages. Late C18 - early C19. Red brick in Flemish
bond; plain tile roofs. 2 storeys, 2:2 windows to each floor
with central doorway to each cottage and passage doorway between.
Doors of 6, fielded panels in wooden doorcases with panelled
reveals, reeded pilasters and flat hoods. Central passage has
boarded door and segmental arch. Projecting stone sills and
rubbed-brick, cambered arches to 16-pane sashes on ground floor
and to 4/8-pane sashes above. Dentilled eaves. Central ridge
stack, end stack on right and end stack to left shared with 32,
Church Street (q.v.).
