Woolgarston Farm House, including attached barn on left

Farmhouse. Probably C18, may be of earlier origin. Rubble stone walls. Stone
slate roof, stone end stacks. 2 storeys and attic. Entrance in right end gable,
adjoining a large projecting stack. Single-storey rear lean-to, under catslide
roof. In main frontage, ground and first floors each have 2 casements with
centre horizontal bar. Attic has 2 gabled dormers with plain pivoted sashes.
At left end a lower outbuilding in matching construction has a C20 door, and
pent-roofed dormer. Left of this an attached barn has rubble stone walls and
corrugated iron roof. (RCHM, Monument 139. Dorset. Vol. II).
