II

Former lodge. Early C19 with alterations and addition. Painted
brick; hipped asbestos tile roof replacing slate roof (October 1984);
brick ridge stack and integral end stack. Gothic style; aligned NW-SW.
2 storeys; 3 bays, vertical joint between the NW bay and the rest
of the house shows that the former is a later addition, casements,
a 3-sided bay projects from the S.E. end and has windows with Gothic
glazing bars and returned dripstones, all except first floor centre
which is blind; 6 panelled door to centre of S.W. side with hood on
moulded brackets.
