II
Farmhouse. Late C17 with alterations and additions of the C18 and C19. Timber
framed with brick infill and red brick additions; plain tile roof; brick ridge
stack and lateral external stack. L-shaped plan; C17 range aligned north-east/
south-west facing south-east with extension wing to the north-east aligned north-
west/south-east facing south-west extended in the C19 to the south-east.
South-west front. Gabled and rendered C17 range to the left, set-back C18/C19,
wing to the right. 2 storeys; 1:2 windows, mainly casements. Right hand return
of C17 range has 2 glazing bar sashes with horns and a door in the right hand corner,
all have segmental heads. C17 timber framed gables to north-east and north-west,
square panels and straight braces. Interior. C17 newel staircase with
splat balusters and faceted newel finial.
