Barn: C17 with oak frame partly brick-nogged, but weatherboarded on
front gable and upper storey of sides; sandstone plinth on bedrock;
grey slate roof. Frame to lower storey has 1 intermediate cross-rail
and through diagonal braces. Raised divided boarded door to
threshing-floor on left side; narrower divided door opposite in right
side. 3 boarded loading-doors to left on left side, 1 on right side.
The upper panels of the lower storey have diamond-shaped vents in
brick nogging. Lean-to with weatherboarded sides and stone front
against front gable. Rear part of left side is rebuilt in brick, with
window and divided door. Attached to the rear of the barn is an early
C19 2-storey brick extension with external stone stair.
