26-1-56 as cottage next E. of Manor
GV II House)

Detached Cottage. Late C17. Rubble-stone walls with occasional flint banding.
Thatch roof, with gable end at left hand, and half-hip at right hand. Brick
stack, left hand gable with C20 capping. C19 stack on ridge right of centre.
2 storeys. 3 windows, ground floor to road has two-light C19 sashes with
wooden lintels. Three 3-light wooden framed windows over, with iron casements
and lead lights. Blocked doorway, just right of centre. Outhouse at east
end, rubble-stone with a slate roof. 1½ storeys, two small irregular C19
windows to road. Front doorway, now off the road, C20 stone porch with
pentice tile roof and plank door.
