SY 39 NW WOOTTON FITZPAINE

1/207 Greenlands Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C18 and later alterations. Rubble walls with brick and occasional
stone quoins. Tiled roof. 2 brick stacks, one at each gable end, renewed.
l½ storeys. 3 - 4 windows: wooden casements mainly of 2 lights, one of 3
lights. Renewed wooden lintels. Front door at centre, C20, with modern wood
porch. Interior: shallow-chamfered beams, C18. Open fireplace with depressed
arch bressummer with same chamfer. Staircase rising from front entrance to
rear wall. Service outshut at rear, rubble walls with brick quoins and Roman
tile roof. Former Cider house attached at right hand end. Same materials.
Plank door at rear with stop-chamfered door frame, C19.
