GV II

House with shop. Early or mid C19. Slate-hung front, rear and
side walls, almost certainly on timber-framing. Hipped slated
roof. Rendered chimney on left side wall. 4 storeys. 2 widely
spaced windows wide with 1 window in exposed part of left side
wall. Late C19 shop front. 9-panelled house door to right, the
6 lower panels flush, the top 3 panels now glazed; 3-paned
fanlight. Upper storey slightly jettied. Windows have 6 and
8-paned sashes in moulded flush frames. The front of the
building appears to overlap the right-hand end of No 7 (qv).
