House. C16 or C17 with C19 alterations. Roughcast over cob or
rubblestone, plain tile roof, hipped to the left, with
rendered rubble lateral stack to the front.
2-unit plan with entry to right of stack with adjoining hall
bay at upper (left) end; the lower end to right was probably
demolished to make way for No.3 (qv); single-storey lean-to to
the left.
2 storeys; 2-window range. To the right the roof sweeps down
over a single-storey entrance with a C20 door and hood on C18
wrought-iron brackets. To the left of it the lateral stack is
offset and gabled into the roof above the first-floor level.
The hall bay to the left of the stack is slightly set back and
gabled, it has a C19 three-light casement window with small
panes to each floor. The former parlour range to the far left
is set well back with similar windows, that to the ground
floor comes forward to form a C19 bay with a lean-to tiled
roof adjoining the central gabled range.
INTERIOR not inspected.
A C20 rear left wing, No.1A, is not included.
