Mill Bank Cottage and adjoining

Former mill house, now house, and adjoining boundary wall.
c1820, with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone and
ashlar, with rendered rear, ashlar dressings and pantile
roofs. 2 coped gable stacks, one stone, one brick. Front
openings have projecting stone surrounds.
2 storeys; 3-window range of 12-pane sashes. Central
round-arched doorway with keystone and imposts, glazed door
and blank fanlight. On either side, a 12-pane sash. To left, a
higher 2-storey outbuilding with a single-storey lean-to
addition to left.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: adjoining boundary wall, coursed squared
rubble with half-round coping and 2 blocked gates with
round-topped ashlar gate piers. Approx 50m long.
