Shop and dwelling. C16 and C17 core, early C19 shop front.
Stucco front to earlier timber-frame; Welsh slate roof. Jetted
1st floor oversailing side passage. 3 storeys; 2-window range:
8/8 sashes in moulded cases; C20, 4/4 sashes over. Early C19
shop front with central half-glazed door, flanked by canted
windows with moulded glazing shafts; to left, 6-panel door;
moulded fascia board and hood overall, on moulded pilasters.
INTERIOR: 1st floor rear: C18 fireplace and overmantel,
bolection mouldings, panelling, dado, C18 wall cupboards.
Cellar: earth floor, early masonry. Roof: Queen post trusses
with many surviving wattle-and-daub infill panels; exposed
timber-framing throughout remaining floor levels. One of the
most complete C16 and C17 timber-framed buildings in the City.
