Town house, later 2 houses. C18 on C17 site, remodelled late C19. Stucco on studwork; steep scantle slate roof; cast-iron ogee gutter and moulded eaves cornice. Double-depth range at the front flanking through-passage leading to narrow courtyard between 2 very deep rear wings at right-angles. 2 storeys; 3-bay 3-window range. Central mid C19 twelve-pane hornless sash flanked by late C19 oriel bays with polygonal roofs and late C19 two-pane horned sashes. Canted late C19 six-light double shop front on right with arched lights and slender mullions and return lights to central doorway with glazed door and overlight; flat C20 shop front under canted fascia of former shop front, on the left, with ope doorway on its right with planked door and small display window right of doorway. Rear has mid C19 window to partly slate-hung courtyard elevation to left-hand wing otherwise C20 windows to other wing. INTERIOR of shops altered C20, otherwise not inspected but likely to be of interest.
