House, now office. Late C18. Brick with stone dressings, slate
roof. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Sill bands to
ground and 1st floors; top modillioned cornice and blocking
course. Tripartite windows to ground floor have Doric
colonnettes, entablatures with fluted friezes and paterae, and
4-pane sashes; those to 1st floor have shaped plaster wedge
lintels with keystones and 4-pane sashes; those to 2nd floor
have rubbed brick flat arches and 4-pane sashes; round-headed
entrance with Doric aedicule, columns with fluted capitals
entablature blocks with oval paterae and open pediment,
fanlight with decorative glazing bars and paired 3-panelled
glazed doors. Gable-end stack. Return to Snow Hill of 2 bays,
the 1st bay has top frieze and cornice, canted bay window; 2nd
bay projects, some sashed windows. INTERIOR has boarded-over
balusters to staircase.
