Terrace of dwellings, now subdivided into flats. c1840, 1922
additions to north front including attic extensions,
subsequent alterations. Stucco over brick, variety of roofs,
mainly flat with mansard slate roof to Courtenay Beach,
roughcast stacks. Plan: 3 western units in a terrace, main
entrance on altered north front. South front: 4 storey plus
attic additions, except to Courtenay Tye, 2:3:3:3 bays, three
3 window bow fronts, moulded cornice, moulded surrounds to
sash windows, mixed glazing bar patterns, continuous first
floor hooded canopy with pelmet carried on cast iron columns,
original cast iron baluster to Courtenay House, others
renewed, mainly French casement windows to first floor and
late C20 fenestration to ground floor. Garden walls on south
front: coursed pebbles with cement humpback coping.
