House, early C19. Red Flemish-bond brickwork with Welsh slate
hipped roof. 3 storeys with exposed flank to SE.
EXTERIOR: front has 2-window range of double-hung sash windows
with painted stone sills and rubbed brick slightly arched
heads. The wider SE windows have 2 vertical glazing bars and
the others aligned vertically over the entrance door have a
single vertical glazing bar. Contemporary 6-panel door under
semicircular brick arch with enclosed plain fanlight and stone
impost blocks. Short length of boundary wall linking with No.6
has similar arched opening to yard and stone coping. Ridgeline
stack with 3 decorative pots and moulded brick projecting
band.
INTERIOR: has contemporary plaster cornices to front rooms and
staircase with straight balusters and column-shaped newels.
