Two similar houses in a terrace. c1820s. Roughly coursed
Killas rubble, brick arches; asbestos slate roofs with brick
end stacks. Cast-iron ogee gutters. Double-depth plan of 2
similar houses flanking a central through-passage (ope). Each
house has 2 reception rooms at the front flanking a central
entrance hall. No.30 (right) has later wing behind the
right-hand side. 2 storeys; overall 6-window front. Central
round-headed doorway fronting a through-passage. Each house
has a symmetrical 3-window front with central round-headed
doorway; No.29 has C20 top-glazed 4-panel door and blind
fanlight; No.30 has C20 six-panel door with painted spoked
blind fanlight; original windows under shallow arches with
keyblocks: No.29 has 4-pane sashes with intermediate glazing
bars removed; No.30 has all the original glazing bars, slate
sills. INTERIORS not inspected.
