GV II

Terraced houses. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, roof of
asbestos slate except for no 33, of Welsh slate. Two storeys
over basement, with dormers in mansard roof, two windows.
Heads of gauged brick to all openings. Steps up to
round-arched entrance with cabled and fluted pilasters,
cornice, blocked fanlight and panelled door of original
design; ground-floor window round-arched, the sashes of
original design having margin lights; first-floor windows
flat-arched and each set under a round arch of gauged brick;
parapet; stacks to party walls. Features of individual houses
are: no 37 has an open fanlight and sashes of original design
throughout. Cast-iron railings to steps and area.
