House. Late C15 hall-house with elevations rebuilt in C18. Painted brick and stone
with bracketed gutter to plain tiled roof, half-hipped to north. Two storeys; 5
window front, various odd hinged and sliding casements. Lean-to porch to left-hand
side with wooden supports resting on brick wall, added in late C19. Interior: much
exposed framing and ceiling-joists. Carved crown-post in attic.
