Road bridge, over the River Tale. C18 or early C19. Local stone rubble with squared
blocks used for voussoirs, C20 concrete coping. 2 span bridge with small elliptical
arches springing from low vertical abutments. The central pier has low pointed
cutwaters.
The sides of the bridge rise to the parapet without a string course. The parapet has
rounded coping and ramps down at each end. On the upstream side the parapet turns
outward.
