Mounting Block to
south-west of Ightham

Gate, gatepiers and mounting-block. Early C19. Cast and wrought-iron. Fleur-de-lys
rails and dog-rails, ramped up to hinges above and with scroll-work in the rails.
Hollow cast-iron piers with intersecting striated design to each face and anthemion
capping. Rails extend to either side to close entry. Four-step mounting-block to
left of rough stone.
