House and garden wall to the
south west of Fernlea

House. Mid-C18. Coursed rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Plain tile
roof and stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Brick gable end stacks. Three
storeys. West elevation - two bays. Central C20 gabled porch with plank door.
To the left a C20 doorway with half glazed door, breaking in to a former
2-light square section flush mullion window. To the right a 2-light square
section flush mullion window with massive stone lintel. Two 2-light square
section flush mullion windows above and a 3-light square section flush mullion
window above again. Limestone garden wall enclosing front garden. Listed for
group value only.
