Terraced house with later shop. Early C19. Rendered. 3 storeys
2 windows. Good mid C19 shopfront of central canted bay shop
window with cast-iron columns and round-arched heads flanked
by recessed round-arched entrances themselves flanked by
display cases, those on angle walls being bowed with cast-iron
columns at angles. Shop door with panel at base and then
glazed with blocked fanlight; house door 4-panelled with
fanlight. Both with black and white chequered pavements.
Shopfront cornice surmounted by a good early C19 cast-iron
balcony at 1st floor level. 1st floor, 15-pane hornless
sashes, originally with enriched Neo-Grecian hoods; 2nd floor
C20 windows. Parapet. INTERIOR: ground-floor completely
altered. All the listed buildings in High Street form a group.
