House, now 2 shops. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with
stepped stone coping to slate roof, and brick stacks to gable
ends. L-shape plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. The first floor
has flat stone arches over 2/2-pane sash to the left and C20
2-light casements to centre and right. The ground-floor shops
have late C19 consoles flanking the fascias: that to the left
is more complete, with a set-back central door and overlight
between plate-glass windows on a Ham Hill stone plinth; the
shop to the right is C20, with a door to its left. C19 rear
extensions: No.6 has one 3-light casement under a wooden
lintel to the first-floor. INTERIORS totally altered. Included
for group value.
