House, now shop. Early C18 or earlier; raised and altered
later. Front of dressed stone, rear of orange-red brick, with
wing of rubble stone; coped gables and vestigial kneelers to
pantile roof, with tall brick stack at right end. 2 storey and
attic; 2-window front. Shop front with half-glazed and
panelled door and overlight, to left of replacement C20 canted
bay window over brick riser; half-hipped roof to shop window.
Passage entry to left, with elliptical arch of voussoirs.
First-floor windows are single-pane sashes with painted stone
sills and flat arches of voussoirs. Flat-topped dormer with
2x6-pane casement window. At rear end of passage, section of
C17 carved wainscotting incorporated in ceiling near doorway.
