Druid Stoke house having recently been re-modelled by Edward Webb M.P. for Gloucester. He later sold it circa 1832 to the Monroe family. His large tomb can be seen in Gloucester Cathedral, as can that of his father John Webb M.P. for Gloucester who lived at Cote House on the Durdham Downs
