GV II

House. Mid C18 with c1900 alterations. Coursed squared stone
with pecked quoins and ashlar dressings. Right return
rendered. Roof Welsh slate with stone ridge and stone gable
copings, and brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 3-window range.
Central 6-panel door and plain overlight in plain stone
surround with lintel raised c1900 and short stone jamb pieces
inserted to accommodate overlight. All windows have plain
sashes, on ground floor c1900 and paired, with chamfered stone
mullion and lintels, and projecting stone sills. First-floor
windows have C18 plain stone surrounds. Roof has cyma-moulded
kneelers supporting gable copings; roof pitch no longer
parallel with copings. End brick chimneys. Right return has 2
ground-floor sashes and one above in plain stone surrounds,
and similar surrounds to small lights in rear wing with low
pitched hipped roof. INTERIOR: not inspected.
